Magic T-Shirt Size S
Exploring Human Anatomy Interactively in 3D
Size: S
Use: Interactive teaching of human anatomy, internal organs, organ systems, the cardiovascular system and digestion in biology lessons
The Magic T-Shirt Size S combines a wearable teaching resource with a digital 3D representation of the human body. Using augmented reality, anatomical structures can be visualized directly on the person wearing the T-shirt and explored together in the classroom.
The design on the shirt acts as a marker for the Body Planet app. When viewed with a smartphone or tablet, a virtual model of the human body appears. Students can explore internal organs, the heart, digestive system, skeleton and muscles in three dimensions and show or hide individual anatomical layers as required.
Physiological processes can also be included in the learning experience. An animated view illustrates the path of food through the digestive system, while the heart view shows the heartbeat, blood flow, atria and ventricles. This makes the Magic T-Shirt suitable for lessons on anatomy, body functions, health and nutrition.
Anatomical labels are available in several languages, including German, English, Spanish and French, making the digital anatomy model suitable for bilingual lessons. A photo function can also be used to capture selected views for further classroom activities.
The 3D models and animations have been certified by anatomy specialists at the University of Barcelona.

In different modes, various main topics can be examined and explored in more detail: entire torso, digestive system or heart with corresponding animations.
The childern get to know the inside of the body at a glance. In doing so, they can fade in and out of the levels of the organs and organ systems and thus better grasp their location and functions in interaction.
The learners explore the structures in the body by means of search assignments or in an exploratory-discovery manner. With the help of the "Cursor" or "Objective" function, the naming and assignment can be checked and consolidated.
